Oldie but Goodie

I am parting ways with my beloved Real Leather crocodile effect brief case style bag. Fabulous as it is I feel I need to make room for many new purchases!

Perfect for any glamourous business women out there!

Spring in my step

Considered not venturing out treasure hunting this morning due to the 60mph winds and ferocious-looking clouds, but am I now glad I did! Whilst holding my pathetic excuse of an umbrella out in front of me to double as a shield, barely seeing anything or anyone in front of me, a ray of golden light caught my eye. No, it wasn't the sun- this is England in mid April, of course!

It was these ridiculously impractical, yet completely necessary, gold and black patent leather wedge heel peep toes. My inner Adriana (Sopranos style icon) possessed me as I struggled to remove my boot with one hand, whilst holding the umbrella in the other and balance on one foot to try them on.

Reminded me of...

Louboutin
Yves Saint Laurent

Perfect £2's worth of sunshine in my otherwise dull and damp Springtime Sunday Shenanigans!

Hope you've had a lovely weekend.

If you're in the market for fabulous new heels; I have a stunning black and gold sandals for sale:

My prayers have been answered

Completely fashion-irrelevant post but today marked a momentous occasion...

Morrisons £7.00

From the age of around 10 months, they were literally all I would eat. My mum would try endlessly to feed me baby food and general puréed goodness to no avail, eventually caving and handing me a packet of the heavenly treats!

My palette has obviously matured and branched out over the years, however, they still remain a firm staple in my daily intake (at least half a packet a day). So I simply must pay homage to this long-awaited, genius creation!

DE-LI-CIOUS. Thrilled that it literally is A Jaffa Cake'- on steroids!

My breakfast, lunch and dinner sorted for today...

Goldilocks and the loaf-ers

I am always in search of the perfect black loafers; however, it is difficult to find a pair that is 'just right'. Many have the right look, yet when I try them on I instantly feel like Bruce Forsyth or as if I am wading through water with canoes attached to my feet- NOT chic. Having lived in ballet pumps for approximately the past decade, I have began to resent the feeling that I am sunken into the ground, flapping down the road in flippers, rather than purposefully pounding the pavements in search of what the day may bring.

After a few window visits, I had decided to buy this pair from Russell and Bromley. Yet when I had an unpleasant experience in the Bond Street branch (involving an extremely rude assistant and the dreaded 'shackles' syndrome), I left empty handed and back to square one!
'Brewster' Snaffle Loafer- Russell and Bromley £155.00

It was only last Sunday, when at my weekly pilgrimage to local carboots, that I found these...

Real Leather and Patent Leather Uppers, beautifully cushioned leather insoles and gold detailing on the front. I love the way they are classic loafers but with the twist of the patent leather panel at the front.

Very comfortable to walk in, due to the small heel, and the slightly gripped soles lessen the chances of me slipping- which I am prone to!

Van Dal branding, which I believe is a good make.

Glad to think my 'Goldilocks Principle' has finally paid off!
