Snow-ones going to stop me shopping!

I braved the snowy elements on Thursday and went to London for a spot of shopping and inspiration for my Summer wardrobe.

It's safe to say I will mostly be wearing Monochrome, with a hint of neutrals and as many gold accessories as I can get my paws on!

Took inspiration from the Givenchy SS13 collection
And bought these Topshop beauties for a snippet of the price (£55)
I also feel a strong connection to anything white leather!
Urban Outfitters 'Vintage Renewal' - reduced from £430 to £80

Topshop Vintage concession £35

Forever 21
I was very pleased to see a Balmain jacket in Joseph similar to the Zara number I bought a couple of weeks ago

Balmain £1,650
Feel like I've profited £1,600!

Paris Men’s Fashion Week introduces the ‘Glam-Man’

One conclusion we can all make from Paris Fashion Week Men’s collections is that Autumn/Winter 2013 is going to be rife with dapper-looking gentlemen. Guests were treated to a parade of stunning Saville Row tailoring in plaid and hounds tooth check, yet with the added artistic va va voom, exquisite!

Valentino channelled a suave Sherlock Holmes by incorporating a cape into a classic grey 3-piece suit. The collection remained as ‘Euro-Glam’ as ever with the use of sumptuous furs and luscious leather.

Jean Paul Gaultier
Whilst Jean Paul Gaultier showcased its all-in-one take on the wardrobe staple.

Alexander McQueen

Sarah Burton paid homage to the late Alexander McQueen’s Saville Row roots, in the house’s first Menswear collection, by infusing a cigar shoulder to extenuate the male form through world-class tailoring.

Cropped leg lengths provide a sixties feel and, as for footwear, we shall Chelsea boots given a revival with side buckles and even tapping into quilting and applique- as seen at Dries Van Noten.

Any Gent would look off-duty dapper in this Calvin Klein shirt:

Black Beauty

In light of today's 'Horsegate' scandal, I thought what better opportunity to showcase my latest Car Boot purchase! As I'm always drawn to Mules, I spotted these a mile off- but once I felt the sumptous velvet material and saw that they were Stuart Weitzman for Russell and Bromley, I was sold! After a slight bit of bartering I snapped them up for £3.50.

A stunning crossbreed of two shoe giants.
Now, with the new Stuart Weitzman campaign featuring Kate Moss, they are definitely best in show!

If, like me, you believe you can never have enough black shoes- then take a look at these...

Happy New Year! to Summer

Once we have immersed ourselves in a world of sparkles, champagne, mince pies, fur stoles, polo necks (backless, of course), and welcomed in the New Year, it only takes a quick flick through a freshly-delivered Harper's to make us want to dive into full Summer mode!

...although, for us, venturing into a Spring/Summer wardrobe is less about throwing on loose cotton florescent maxi dresses and more about allowing a splash of coral, a hint of white and an abundance of bare flesh (preferably tanned).

I'm positive that I can justify needing each and every pair of these shoes
In the spirit of things, decided to splurge on a shopping trip with my mum

Thought they could create the illusion of a 'Sloane Ranger'/ 'Eurotrash' look in the summer with tailored trousers.

My favourite has to be the Dolce & Gabanna family as they represent exactly how our family want to look throughout summer; beach + suntan + black lace = perfection!

In the meantime; I have this Jigsaw number to help beat the January blues:

and these Hobbs beauties to boot!
