Raindrops on Roses...

Not only did we fully embrace our British Heritage by re-visiting the sights of London and strolling round parks and wondering down mews soaking in the buzz of one of the best cities in the world, this Summer... WE. SHOPPED.

Here's one of my favourite outfits; featuring my favourite Moschino gold earrings, black crop top, blazer, Leopard print skirt and obligatory Saint Laurent bag.

Moschino Cheap&Chic earrings £80.00 (considered buying another pair-just in case)

I did discover an identical pair in Forever 21 for around £2.50!
Extremely poor picture quality- 'Cool-Girl Hoop Studs'

Therefore, I may bulk buy, smother myself in them and create this catwalk dream!...

When browsing around The Shop At Bluebird; my skirt was put to shame by this pair of Phillip Lim Leather Leopard print trousers. I wanted to walk out with them on, there and then.

Phillip Lim

Lim has managed to make a delicious concoction of all my favourite things, Bravo Phillip. Bravo.

A visit from Saint Laurent himself

I went shopping for some last few essentials for my trip to LA/ San Francisco (excited!) and was obviously side tracked in a Vintage Boutique when I saw a stunning pair of high waisted Real Suede trousers. I have always had a love for suede and a particular fondness of anything that looks like it could be worn, extremely impractically and perhaps dangerously, in the desert. So of course I tried them on...

Good fit, sumptuous, edible Suede that screamed luxury- I was sold!

The feel, weight and tailoring of them felt so good that I checked the label, thinking they must be at least Topshop or Zara.

So you can imagine my face when I saw this label; a ray of light shone upon the fitting room!

Saint Laurent indeed!

I couldn't wait to pay for them, whatever the cost, as they are just so beautiful!

Now the decision I have to make is to keep or to sell? ...

Spring in my step

Considered not venturing out treasure hunting this morning due to the 60mph winds and ferocious-looking clouds, but am I now glad I did! Whilst holding my pathetic excuse of an umbrella out in front of me to double as a shield, barely seeing anything or anyone in front of me, a ray of golden light caught my eye. No, it wasn't the sun- this is England in mid April, of course!

It was these ridiculously impractical, yet completely necessary, gold and black patent leather wedge heel peep toes. My inner Adriana (Sopranos style icon) possessed me as I struggled to remove my boot with one hand, whilst holding the umbrella in the other and balance on one foot to try them on.

Reminded me of...

Louboutin
Yves Saint Laurent

Perfect £2's worth of sunshine in my otherwise dull and damp Springtime Sunday Shenanigans!

Hope you've had a lovely weekend.

If you're in the market for fabulous new heels; I have a stunning black and gold sandals for sale:
